Privacy Policy
We collect the account information you provide, such as your name, username, and profile image, plus the optional learning-profile answers described below. We also store your learning activity, including saved words, examples, quizzes, reviews, and progress statistics.
When you sign up — and from Settings at any time — we ask seven optional questions: your age range, country, gender, your current English level, why you are learning English, which skill you find hardest, and the topics you enjoy. We ask for one reason only: to choose words, example sentences and questions that match your level and your interests instead of giving every learner the same thing.
Every one of these answers is optional. You can leave any of them blank, change them later, or clear them completely in Settings. None of them is shown on your public profile, none of them is shared with other learners, and none of them is sold or passed to advertisers. Once you have answered all seven we stop asking, and if you would rather not answer now, the reminder goes quiet for a few days each time you dismiss it.
Your information is used to personalize your learning experience, remember your progress, and show your vocabulary and quiz results. We do not use it to sell unrelated products or services.
Your study data stays private by default. Example sentences are only visible to other learners when you choose to share them publicly.
We use reasonable technical measures to protect your account and learning data. Keep your password private and sign out when using a shared device.
You can update or clear your profile information — including every learning-profile answer — and control whether examples are public. Contact us if you need help with your account or data.
